The EPICENTER at Edgewood’s February Health Fair & Food Giveaway will take place on Friday, February 8 from 2-5 p.m., with food distribution beginning at 3.
As we do each month, The EPICENTER will share fresh produce with Harford County citizens in need. We will also feature a broad spectrum of resources for all community members, including free employment support, Empowering Minds Resource Center, and many others.

The EPICENTER is now enrolling for the 2018-19 Before and After School Program The Zone. Our Before School Program will be a new addition this year. We are so happy to have the opportunity to provide our community with a safe, fun and nurturing environment for children to come before and after school each day.
The program is open for kindergarten through 8th grade students. The hours of the program will be 6:30AM drop off for the Before School Program and 6:30PM pickup for the After School Program. The cost of the Before School Program will be $25 per week and After School Program will be $55 per week which includes transportation to and from school if needed.
Transportation is available to and from the following Harford County Schools:
- Magnolia Middle School
- Edgewood Middle School
- Edgewood Elementary
- Joppatowne Elementary School
- Magnolia Elementary School
- Deerfield Elementary School
- William Paca/Old Post Elementary School
- Riverside Elementary
Here is a quick overview of the programs:
Before School Program
A Healthy breakfast will be provided each morning along with small group structured games, moderate gym activities, completion of homework if needed, and or a quiet restful place for your children.
After School Program
- Dinner is served daily
- Math & reading tutoring as well as homework assistance by certified staff
- Age appropriate Gym activities
- Basketball
- Arts & Crafts
- Lego Club
- Mentoring Program
