Al Anon Tuesdays, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Al-Anon is for anyone who has been affected by alcoholism. If you are concerned about someone else’s drinking, the Al-Anon program can offer help.   For more information call Sheri P. 443-207-6804

Alcoholics Anonymous Thursdays, 7:30 pm

AA is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hop with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Narcotics Anonymous Fridays, 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

NA atmosphere provides help from peers and offers an ongoing support network for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle.

Edgewood Farmers Market

Edgewood Farmers Market is back, starting May 12th Until October 20th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM!

The EPICENTER is hosting the Edgewood Farmers Market right here at 1918 Pulaski Hwy.  Come out and support local farmers and businesses.

Tuesdays and Fridays 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Cost:

The initiation fee is $60, which covers the annual registration fee and the first examination. After that, the annual organizational registration fee is $30. The monthly membership fee is $40, which allows that student to train at any and all regularly scheduled classes. Scholarships to cover part or all of the monthly training fee.

Description:

The Karate program is part of an internationally recognized organization, called JAPAN KARATE-DO RYOBU-KAI (JKR), a traditional Japanese karate organization. JKR is one of the six original karate organization in Japan. More information about JKR is available at the official JKR Web Site: http://www.jkr.com/. The classes are taught by certified black belt members of JKR. The training program includes strikes, kicks, throws, takedowns, joint-lock techniques, as well as traditional Okinawan weapons. The level of technical difficulty is graduated. The students will learn only those techniques that are appropriate for the students’ proficiency level. Currently, the age restriction for these classes are set at 13 years and older.
