BRINGING HOPE TO BALTIMORE COUNTY

We are thrilled to announce the establishment of our next EPICENTER in Parkville, Maryland, marking our first center across county lines. This new mission outpost in Baltimore County represents a beacon of hope and positive change for even more individuals and families in desperate need.

For several years now, Mountain Christian Church and The EPICENTER have desired to continue expanding their impact beyond Harford County. We saw the potential when the VFW Hall (previously Colony Theatre), located at 8123 Harford Road, was presented to us.

While a diamond in the rough, this building was an opportunity to invest in a facility that can be an epicenter of hope in Parkville. We plan to bring the Colony Theatre back to life and expand the facility to accommodate all of the best programming we have to offer.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Our top priority is bringing programs and partnerships that will best serve the community. We want to know what you would like to see in our new location! Please fill out our survey and let us know how we can best serve Parkville!

COMING TO PARKVILLE

Youth Programs

We believe in building up tomorrow’s leaders, which is why we offer a Before and After School Care program and summer camp for kids.

Health Programs

A healthy body and mind is a critical part to living a healthy life. Through our food pantry, fitness classes, and health professional partnerships, we love to provide opportunities to thrive in health and wellness.

Life Skills

Everyone deserves a chance to succeed. From case management, employment connections, and free internet/laptop access, we’re here to empower every individual that walks in the door.

Recovery Programs

We believe life transformation happens when we take steps with others. Whatever your past may be, we believe everyone can be free from addictive cycles.

OUR MISSION

The EPICENTER exists to empower people, strengthen families, and build community. We provide resources to neighbors in need through our food pantries, thrift stores, recovery programs, case management services, and youth programs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When are you opening?

Ideally, as soon as our building is built! December 2025 is the target to open our doors for in-center programming, however, don’t be surprised if you see us popping up in the community between now and then.

Can anyone serve at The EPICENTER?

Yes! This is for everyone! Please join our email list to be notified about opportunities to serve with us.

What types of programs will you offer?

We want to offer what doesn’t exist today and stand in the “gap.” So please share with us what needs are in Parkville and how we can help! We plan on joining this beautiful community, fueling what the current partners (other nonprofits and local churches) are already doing, and then building our programs off of what they are not.
